If your payment was declined after being selected, we can't manually retry the charge or complete the order on your behalf. Being selected gives you the opportunity to purchase — but your selection is only confirmed once payment goes through successfully. If payment fails and can't be completed, the system will try to charge the next entrant selected.
In some cases, our system may automatically attempt to re-run your payment if stock is still available — but this is not guaranteed and depends on how popular the launch is. We are not able to manually trigger a retry.
EQL+ subscribers: If your payment fails and you were subscribed to EQL+ before the launch closed, you'll receive a payment update link via email with a 15-minute window to update your card and complete your purchase. Check your inbox (including spam).
Not on EQL+? Payment update links are not guaranteed for non-EQL+ fans. The best way to protect your spot if a payment fails is to be an EQL+ subscriber before the launch closes.
Because each bank or card provider handles payments differently, we recommend reaching out to them directly to find out why the transaction was declined. This can help prevent issues in future launches.
